About us
The National Care Advisory Service (NCAS) is the national advice, support and development service for children in and from care (age 13-25) and those who work with them.
NCAS was created in April 2008 by the bringing together of the National Leaving Care Advisory Service (link to NLCAS page) and the products and messages from the Equal funded What Makes the Difference project l(link to WMTD pages) and is part of the larger young people’s organisation Catch22.
NCAS works at local, regional, national and EU levels to develop solutions based on good corporate parenting that include and empower young people, professionals and policy-makers to continually improve service quality and outcomes.
NCAS seeks to provide opportunities, new experiences and skills development for young people.
