Frequently Asked Questions
NCAS runs a national advice and enquiries service to provide information for leaving care professionals, young people and foster carers.
We can’t give legal advice or provide individual advocacy, but we can clarify government guidance and regulations, advise you on good practice and point you towards useful esources and research. In 2008/09 we responded to over 250 enquiries.
To ask your question, fill out our online form or e-mail us.
We have prepared a series of freqently asked questions listed below under the themes of the national leaving care standards, which we also publish in our magazine Keynotes.
