Rainer receives funding from DCSF for NLCAS/WMTD
Rainer has been successful in its application to the DCSF for funding for NLCAS for the next three years. Whilst we have not been given everything we asked for the grant is for a significant increase from current levels and will enable the plans to go ahead for the creation of a new service following the end of WMTD. We have also received a project grant for one year that will focus on the accommodation needs of young people and enable us to have a housing specialist within the service. The grant decisions are a sign of how much the DCSF values the work of both NLCAS and WMTD and the importance they attach to the improvement of services for older young people in care and care leavers.
