DCSF Regulation and Guidance on Care Planning published
On the 26 march 2010 the DCSF published the new regulations and guidance to improve the quality and consistency of care planning, placement and case review for looked after children. This also includes statutory guidance on independent reviewing officers, the 'sufficiency duty' requiring local authorities to have sufficient accommodation for looked-after children and practice guidance on short breaks for disabled children and children in need.
