Workforce news – new reports from SW taskforce and CSF Select Committee

The Social Work Taskforce for England has published its interim report giving advice to the government about the current state of social work and ideas for the reforms needed. Amongst its recommendations are the creation of a national college for social work and greater partnership between employers and educators.

The Children, Schools and Families Select Committee report has published a report on the training of child and family social workers and contains the recommendations of the committee.
